S-Ateen is a fellowship of young people whose lives have been affected by the sexual behavior of a family member or friend. S-Ateen meetings are conducted separately from those of S-Anon, and are guided by adult S-Anon sponsors. Please contact the World Service Office to find out whether there is an S-Ateen meeting in your area.
Are You Willing to Sponsor an S-Ateen Meeting?
Every S-Ateen group needs an active, adult member of S-Anon to serve as a sponsor. If you have been attending S-Anon meetings regularly for at least one year, are working the Twelve Steps with a sponsor, and are willing to share your experience, S-Ateen sponsorship may be for you!
You can read more about S-Ateen sponsorship in the pamphlet, “S-Ateen Information about Sponsorship and Meetings“, which is available as a free download from the SIFG Online Store.
If you are interested in serving as a sponsor, please contact the World Service Office.
S-Ateen Group Sponsors Share Their Experience
S-Ateen Group Sponsors share about the privilege, rewards, and personal benefits that come from serving with teens recovering from the effects of sexaholism in a relative or friend.
History of the S-Ateen Program
An S-Ateen Group Sponsor shares about the history of the S-Ateen program, how it started, and what the program is all about, both in the past and today.
