Three times a year the S-Anon Board of Trustees (BOT) sends out a special request for member and group contributions to support the work of the S-Anon World Service Office (WSO). As the central headquarters of the S-Anon organization, the WSO is responsible for a wide range of efforts to help newcomers and members connect with and participate in the S-Anon fellowship. This work includes managing group records and publishing meeting information, carrying the S-Anon message of recovery at the national and international level, overseeing the production and distribution of S-Anon literature worldwide, and providing administrative support to the BOT Committees who carry out various projects that serve the fellowship, groups, and newcomers.

The February Special Appeal was distributed a couple of weeks ago. Would you be open to circulating this letter among the groups you attend? Below are some ways in which S-Anon members can spread the word about this important contribution request:

–Copy/paste and send the following brief message to your group contact list via email, text message, or the chat function of your virtual meeting space:
“The S-Anon World Service Office Special Appeal has arrived! Read the letter at https://member.sanon.org/february-2023-special-appeal/ and contribute via PayPal at paypal.me/sanonwso or on the S-Anon website sanon.org/donate. Thank you for your contribution.”

–Read the letter to your groups for three consecutive meetings during the 7th Tradition collection time, and ask members to contribute either during the meeting or directly to the WSO.

–Share the direct links for contributing directly to the WSO via paypal.me/sanonwso or sanon.org/donate.

–Forward the Special Appeal email to your groups and, if your group is served by an intergroup, ask it to spread the message as well.
