We all hear our “Guidelines for Sharing” read at every meeting. When we first attended S-Anon, it might have seemed that there were many confusing “rules” about sharing during the meeting. Over time, we come to see that our guidelines and meeting format are not rules; instead, they help us preserve the S-Anon program and provide safety for all S-Anon members. In this new 20-page booklet What is the S-Anon Point of View?, we explore the importance of keeping S-Anon identifiably “S-Anon,” and how we can actively apply the S-Anon point of view in our meetings and our relationships.
