The S-Anon/S-Ateen Service Manual is meant to serve as a resource, grounded in S-Anon’s Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service, not a rule book. It contains material gathered over the years related to experiences of local groups – what has worked well and what has not worked very well. It also contains all published material that explains the service structure of S-Anon in the United States and Canada and how the group conscience of S-Anon as a whole functions at the local, regional, national, and international levels. We hope that posting this manual on our website will encourage groups and individuals to refer to it often; many questions related to how S-Anon works at every level can be answered by consulting our Service Manual.
